Open has an exciting new opening for a Senior or Midweight Art Director to help us deliver inspiring, responsive campaigns for some of the world’s most loved charities.

Are you an Art Director with charity experience? Come and join Open’s exciting creative team and help our clients change the world.

Whether you’re a Midweight with a few years of experience in the sector or a Senior Art Director looking to work with some of the biggest charity brands, on some of the biggest projects going, we’d love to hear from you.

For both levels, we’re looking for someone who understands how to create responsive work, both on and offline. For the more senior role, we need someone who has worked on cross-channel integrated campaigns before and has some experience in film and motion.

This is an important role within our creative department and you’ll work with Designers, Artworkers and Copywriters across our full roster of charity clients to deliver highly effective and inspiring creative.

Briefs will include projects such as direct mail, digital campaigns and DRTV ads. In the Senior role, we’ll brief you on integrated campaigns and new client pitches too. You’ll be full of ideas, know how to get people to take action, a confident presenter and confident in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. If you also know your way around After Effects, Premiere Pro and the Google Suite, then you’re onto a winner.

Though neither of the roles currently include any line management responsibilities, there may be the opportunity to recruit and manage people as the team grows. At Open, we believe in growing our people, so training and development will also be available to bridge any skills gaps.

Our office is situated in Holborn Studios, beside the Regent’s Canal, and just a short walk from both Angel and Old Street tube stations. This is a hybrid-role with a minimum of two office days a week expected. Just a short bus ride from both Farringdon and King’s Cross, we have a number of employees based outside of London who commute a few days a week. Though this is a permanent, full-time role, we’re also happy to discuss flexible working for the right candidate.

Senior: £45-55k P/A depending on experience

Midweight: £35-45k P/A depending on experience
