Creative Packaging & Product Designer: Fragrance & Beauty

About the Company

Laurelle London is a market leader in the development, formulation and supply of the fragrance, beauty, home fragrance and personal care product categories. We have a broad client base, offering a full creation and production vendor service, working with major high street retailers to launch own brand products, as well as collaborations with celebrities and brands to launch bespoke fine fragrances. We have a strong customer base in the UK and expanding international distribution.

The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Middleweight Fragrance & Beauty, Product & Packaging Designer with 3 to 4 years + experience to join us

You will use your creativity and expertise identifying trends within the market to produce commercial and trend-led designs a range of fragrance and beauty brands

This role requires a sharp understanding of specific retailer requirements as you will be producing artworks tailored for a range of different customers and leading retailers.

Having excellent cutter guide / net, packaging, typography, and artworking skills, you will also have a comprehensive understanding of Adobe Suite and accomplished 2D/ 3D modelling skills for presentations

Responsibilities for Role

Designing and developing concepts for new fragrance and beauty products to meet client requirements

Creating 2D / 3D visuals for new and conceptual products

Creating artwork for products and packaging, ensuring accuracy and high-quality standards

Creating visually appealing customer presentations and graphics for new and conceptual products to support sales pitches

Trend & NPD research

Social media posting and product content creation for Laurelle social media channels / websites; (TikTok / Instagram/ Facebook)

Requirements

Proficient in Adobe suite specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign on Mac’s

Able to come up with big ideas that are new and engaging

Skilled in creating / using cutter guides

Extensive experience in packaging design, including the incorporation of back-of-pack information, hazard warnings, and barcodes

Strong layout skills and the ability to create appealing artwork compositions with the understanding of branding/ designing products to low/middle and high-end markets

Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all design work

Efficient and fast working, delivering high-quality results within given timeframes

Enthusiastic and passionate about product design, displaying a genuine interest in the field with strong brand awareness

Adaptive to changing project requirements and open to incorporating feedback and suggestions with a can - do attitude

A positive can-do manner that demonstrates a strong work ethic, consistently working hard and diligently

Possesses excellent teamwork skills, effectively collaborating with colleagues and suppliers to achieve project goals
