Job Description

We're in search of an iconic Executive Producer who has creativity at their core, thrives on crafting top-tier productions, embraces the team wholeheartedly and is dedicated to nurturing both the company's growth and reputation. An EP at weareseventeen needs to be a confident decision maker, hyper-organised, with a strategic and creative mindset. We are a truly independent studio and will always empower our team to offer up new ways of doing things, to really feel part of helping shape our growing business. We'd love someone with 3+ years of experience in a similar studio or industry as ours, but we are open to all applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead with your passion for groundbreaking moving image work.

• Forge strong relationships with clients, agencies, and decision-makers to nurture and expand connections. Be the key client contact on projects that you are either running or overseeing.

• Lead dynamic creative pitches alongside the CD's, shaping initial ideas into production-ready projects. Collaborate closely with the CD's and artists to ensure a brief isn't just met, but exceeded. We strive for excellence on every project and look to weave in strategic thinking and visual experimentation into everything we do. Our EP should have exceptional taste and an eye for detail from start to finish.

• Translate awarded projects into actionable production plans, collaborating with Producers to develop comprehensive scopes of work, timelines, and financially sound budgets.

• Plan, run and own large scale projects with assistance from producers.

• Guide and mentor the Production team informally throughout projects via delegating or shadowing, fostering growth and excellence.

• Alongside Head of Production be responsible for project specific budgets and profitability, as well as being focused on wider P&L and company growth targets.

• Work hand in hand with Head of Production to create / nurture a talented roster of freelancers. Seek out opportunities to enlist external specialists, enhancing the skill set and overall quality brought to productions.

• Alongside Head of Production serve as a point of escalation for both clients and internal production leads, proactively resolving any tensions or conflicts thoughtfully and pragmatically.

• From project inception to completion, maintain oversight, ensuring client satisfaction and conducting follow-ups in writing and conversation

• Together with the New Projects and Partnerships manager, you will evaluate incoming projects, be proactive in pitching and assessing existing relationships and strategising how to retain and grow key accounts and win repeat business. Part of this role is sales and new business focused.

• Always have an eye on the financial health of the business and be a leading voice for growth within the team, while remaining mindful of our culture in doing so.

About weareseventeen

weareseventeen is an independent creative studio specialising in moving image. Based in London, we create ambitious and engaging content to tell the stories of iconic and impactful global brands. We call what we do 'creativity that moves' - striving for our work to move ideas and brands forward to ultimately move their audiences in meaningful ways and inspire action.

We're a studio motivated to push boundaries and give our team space to innovate, develop new aesthetics and explore new technologies. Our team ranges from technical experts in 3D, design and future-facing softwares, to creative directors with strategy and storytelling at their core, and a world-class production team that manage our clients and team in a super creative and agile way, to get the best results for the brief at hand.

For years we've partnered with global brands including Coca-Cola, Michael Kors, Tissot, BBC and more. Our ethos of 'championing decency' is woven into how we behave day to day, the decisions we make, and how we treat each other and our clients. High-end work is our MO, though we never compromise our humanity and values in the process. Being human, open and supportive to our team and our clients is non-negotiable.

The role is full-time 4.5 days per week (we finish at 1pm every Friday). We work together from the studio 2 days per week and it is key that our EP is in the London studio on these days, including an additional day if possible. We encourage a combination of home and studio-based days.
