The Studio

Luxury/high end hospitality group is looking for an in-house designer to join their small but busy design team! Based in the heart of London this is an iconic and historic brand. The group offers an excellent overall package and benefits. This is hybrid working with 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.

The Opportunity

This role would suit someone who enjoys working in-house and taking ownership and guardianship for one brand. As in-house designer you will be working collaboratively and closely with the design team to produce beautiful and engaging projects in collaboration with the marketing team. Your day to day will be extremely diverse and challenging with projects ranging from print brochures/PR and events through to campaign led creative and digital communications. You will consistently come up with original and creative ideas, taking them through initial scamps, concept development, design and artworking through to final delivery and so we are looking for a designer skilled in handling all stages of a creative project.

You’ll be instrumental in telling the brands’ narratives via print and digital design. You should be a dynamic, passionate, positive designer with a 'can do' attitude. This role requires a designer with a wide and varied skill set and strong eye for detail.

The Ideal Candidate:

- At least 4 years' graphic design experience [in-house or creative studio].

- Experience working in the hospitality or lifestyle/luxury space advantageous.

- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

- Good artworking skills

- Excellent knowledge of the print process & production.

- An understanding of and experience in designing for different mediums and the restraints or restrictions involved.

- Excellent digital design capabilities.

- An original thinker who is aware of current design and cultural trends and is able to think conceptually.

- General interest and curiosity in all things design and a logical way of approaching problem solving.

- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and collaborative approach to creative ideas.

- Ability to work under pressure without compromising performance or accuracy in a deadline-oriented environment.

- A degree in graphic design or related field is preferred.

- Organised, able to plan and manage time and meeting deadlines.
