Job Description
A Rabbit's Foot is a highly-circulated film, art and culture journal based in London. As we proceed to grow in our print and digital offering, we are seeking a creative and organised person to become a member of our expanding team in the role of Digital Editor.
The Digital Editor will oversee all online elements of the brand, from website articles to podcasts, social media, and further projects beneath the wider digital umbrella.
We are seeking someone who is collaborative, open to new ideas, and who has a deep passion for cinema and the arts.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in digital editorial content creation
- Excellent proofreading, editing and communication skills
- London based
- Available portfolio of published work
- In-depth knowledge of software such as InDesign, Photoshop and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- In-depth knowledge of best SEO practices
- MA in journalism, communications or similar relevant field
- Ability to uncover current and relevant stories in real time
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create, produce and manage high quality content around film, art and culture
- Build relationships with clients and establish relationships with other team members
- Supervise layout of images, graphics, videos and other artwork
- Check and track content daily
- Proofread and edit content daily
- Adhere to SEO rules
- Use social media for increase brand presence
- Track and analyse website traffic
- Have a deep understanding of film, luxury brands and current affairs
- Seek advertising opportunities across all digital platforms
- Organise content plans on a weekly basis
