CAD Designer
Job Description
Tomorrow are collaborating with a unique studio who create and curate engaging interior experiences and experiential identities. They are looking for a new CAD Designer, who is a detail orientated individual with a background in 3D Design (Experience in AutoCAD and Revit) who can co-ordinate build documentation to bring work to life.
You will play a key role in ensuring that the creative vision of the design team is seen through and enhanced until installation, overcoming any challenges met along the way. You will assist in all aspects of the production process, including costing and procurement, logistics and administration. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless execution of projects and contributing to the creation of awe-inspiring experiences for there clients.
The client operates on a hybrid basis, Tues/Weds/Thurs on site
Salary:£40,000 - £50,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Production in delivering projects across varied timelines
- Responsible for document control systems and coordinating documents received
- Create and format drawing packs from internal and external sources
- Work with suppliers and fabricators to ensure quality output and design intentions are met
- Maintain an understanding and knowledge of production methods, sizes and materiality restrictions matched with cost and budget parameters, cascading knowledge to the team
- Draw up Site Elevations and devise key documents for designers to work with
Key Requirements:
- Advanced skill in Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of UK & Global suppliers within this industry
- Familiarity with Revit
- Proven experience in similar roles
- Familiarity with site coordination and being a point of contact for on site teams
- Experience with environmental branding, architecture, interiors, set building and signage
