The Role
We’re looking for our first in-house Strategist. Someone that is excited about deep immersion into a brand’s headspace. Someone that enjoys creating and connecting a verbal identity and visual identity of a brand together, and who can ultimately express a brand’s personality through consistent creative copy & messaging,
You’ll love to get under the skin of a brand. It could be a tech start-up in the morning, lux goods in the afternoon and a food brand at the end of the day - you’ll find the unique insight to get excited about every one of our clients.
You’ll enjoy speaking to stakeholders and creating comprehensive and actionable brand platforms as well as building robust messaging houses from your immersion sessions.
Comfortable with solving hard problems and thinking differently, but retaining a creative lens at all times you will need strong cultural expertise & understanding to hone in on the brand idea at the heart of it all - why should people buy from this brand?
You’ll be a naturally strong copy-writer, well versed in creative copywriting - both short snappy messaging and longer brand stories, able to create messages for different occasions or target audience segments to build out frameworks that our clients can roll out across year-long campaigns, often at a global scale.
Your experience should show your process, thinking and ability to take a brand on a journey from A to B (along with your creative team). You’ll need to be able to make exciting and convincing business cases for change, moving clients to the unknown through diligent and comprehensive strategies that cut to the heart of human behaviour.
We’re looking for someone who wants to go beyond a typical activation or go-to-market strategies and who wants to really deep-dive into our wide-ranging brands (and their audiences) to create genuine red threads that permeate through all of our creative solutions.
You’re interested in this role because you don’t want clients to do things how they’ve always been done before, like us you want to move the needle along for how things could be - transforming businesses into brands people love.

What we're looking for
We are now looking for a Strategist to join our growing design team to help us take our campaigns to the next level in 2022.
Working with our existing creative team and reporting directly to our Creative Director & Managing Direct, you’ll be responsible for creating the strategies for our clients and helping express these through messaging and creative copy throughout their verbal and visual identity.
With a focus on a framework that follows deep brand immersion, interviews or workshops, brand platform building and messaging house creation, you’ll work alongside our Creative Director to optimise and grow our brand identity offering.
As a small studio, you'll be expected to be a self-starter and comfortable working independently, with the support of our project managers.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing agency, offering a unique role to become a member of our tight-knit team.
We have two studios - one in London (Hackney) and one in Newbury (Berkshire). We’d look for you to be one of the offices twice a week.
In this role you will be:
- Creating exceptional brand strategies for start-ups, scale-ups, SME’s and global brands alike
- Conducting interviews or workshops 121 with the brand stakeholders
- Creative copywriting to bring the campaign or identity to life, and executing it through end-line messaging
- Understanding of data & insights
- Working directly with our Creative Directors and wider Creative Team to support brand, campaign & digital design work.
- Assisting marketing & new business with internal creative tasks.
Requirements
- Ideally, 3+ years experience in-house or agency
- You’ll have a portfolio/examples of work showing how you took brands on a journey from A to B
- A naturally strong creative copywriter - you’ll be able to create short end-lines and longer brand stories alike
- Experience conducting interviews or workshops with brands
- Good knowledge of brand strategy frameworks
- You’ll enjoy deep-dive research and immersion
- Understanding of data & insights to support your work
- Confident ability to show thinking & create a business case
- Passion for cultural, social & creative trends
- Ability to build out presentations
